The Hearst Corporation Invoicing Bureau Invoicing Bureau Scam Harlan, Indiana
*General Comment: Final notice from Cosmopolitan
*Consumer Comment: Me too!
I received an invoice today for a subscription to Cosmopolitan which I previously cancelled with Cosmopolitan months ago. Today's invoice is from The Hearst Corporation Invoicing Bureau thanking me for being a part of their Continuous Service Program-NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In addition their letter also states that I requested to renew my subscription for another year-NOT!!!!!!!!
The Hearst Corporation Invoicing Bureau conveniently does not include anyway to contact them by phone, fax, or e-mail.
I am ignoring this invoice for $19.97 and would like to know if this is how Cosmopolitan treats their customers after they non-renew!

Final notice from Cosmopolitan

I got the same letter from cosmopolitan about the final notice. I called this number 515-283-2578 and they told me I was on automatic renewal. I asked to be removed because I never signed up for that. They were very nice and removed me. They asked if I wanted to renew my subscription for $15.00 for 1 year. I said no thank you. I asked if I would be getting this letter again.
She said maybe 2 more due to the crossing in the mail. She informed me to ignore them. Remember if you call it says country living. Just follow what it says and say you don't have your account number when asked. Wait for the human to come on to let them know you don't want this subscription anymore and you want to be removed from their automatic renewal program. I hope this helps you out!

The same thing happened to me. I had a one year subscription and every time they asked me to renew I ignored it. Now I have an invoice for 19.97 and they said they renewed it for me. I did not ask anyone to do that, nor did I give any one the right to do that for me.
