The Niche Blogger - Amy Bass Refused to Honor Her Refund Policy, Then Changed It Only Days Later Internet

I am an internet marketing copywriter, and as such have a wide experience of most facets of internet marketing. I've also been a member of Amy Bass' "The Niche Blogger" program since October 2008 - a year ago. 

A few months later, I liked it so much, I upgraded to a "Lifetime membership".  I am not a personal friend of Ms. Bass, so there is no motive for me in this rebuttal to be anything but objective.

I was more than surprised to read this negative report.  I do have a few things I'd like to say:

- I myself was under no impression that the Lifetime membership included coaching, when I signed up for it. Ms. Bass makes it quite clear that coaching involves a different option at a higher cost. I honestly do not understand how the complainant could misunderstand that.

- As a "student", I myself have never written a word of review copy for Ms. Bass - free or paid. (This totally-unsolicited rebuttal, she doesn't even know about.) And I don't personally know of anyone else she directly paid to do so, either. (If she's ever used a paid copywriter for legitimate sales material that is a far, far different thing from what is being implied here in the complainant's review!) 

And just to make that doubly clear, nor has she employed my services in any capacity, at any time.

- The information in the course is incredibly thorough and complete. This is one of the rare few courses that absolutely overdeliver.

Lifetime members (and those who complete the course the regular way) end up with a very thorough "how to" overview of everything you need to make an internet income of any sort (including domain hosting, autoresponder setup, correct affiliate link management, RSS feed creation, creating your own membership site - normally a full course in itself.  And that's just a small sampling.)

I feel I have been given more than my share of high lifetime value by Ms. Bass, a conscientious and clever young woman who has put a great deal of hard work, thought and brilliant organization into a very clear, step-by-step course - for which she provides conscientious personal support.  The knowledge I've gained through her course has contributed greatly to allowing me to make a full-time income online.

I feel that The Niche Blogger offers one of the best values anywhere on the net - and no one is paying me to say this.  There's no link to click for a few cents, nor does Ms. Bass know I am even doing this.

From the standpoint of my personal opinion and experience with Ms. Bass and "The Niche Blogger", I endorse Ms. Bass' rebuttal as completely accurate.

I am familiar enough with internet marketing to know that if I was to put more work into it and complete all the modules, I am convinced there is real potential to easily make that much.

Niche Blogging is not for everyone: It's not my be-all-and-end-all; and my blogging income reflects that. But I am very happy with the results I have had, when I place them against the amount of work I actually did.

I feel that The Niche Blogger offers one of the best values anywhere on the net - and no one is paying me to say this.  There's no link to click for a few cents, nor does Ms. Bass know I am even doing this.

I am tired of people behaving impulsively, not putting work into something, or not reading the (not-so-fine) print, then whining about it because they're not making $5000 in a few days.

There may have been a genuine misunderstanding on the complainant's part about the coaching, but the difference between Lifetime membership and a Lifetime Coaching membership is abundantly clear.

Whether the complainant chooses to niche blog or not, he or she is now completely privy to a full internet marketing system that can be used profitably in any internet marketing arena, any time.  To vengefully go out and attempt to ruin Ms. Bass' reputation, after all her hard work (and more-than-happy students), because the complainant didn't read the fine print (or simply had a change of mind) is just not ethical.

I make my living online as a copywriter. I have to really believe in something or someone, to speak up with my personal opinion, take a stand, and make waves. However, I believe the record needs to be set straight here, so I have registered with Rip Off Report in order to do it.

The Truth:
The $197 for lifetime never did include lifetime free coaching. That is only through the lifetime coaching membership option.

"After reading through her materials it was clear that this was nothing more than a rip-off of two other popular affiliate-based referral programs and not worth the money."

The Truth:
The content is 100% original and not base on any other program out there. If you are so sure it is a rip-off of them please name the membership sites that they are falsely claimed to be a rip off from. That is a very strong accusation and you had better be willing to back that up with some evidence.

"I politely wrote Amy and asked for my refund. She declined stating that I was a lifetime member and I was not eligible for a refund."

The Truth:
You do not state the date you asked for the refund. Yes the policy did change on a certain date because lifetime members get access to all the content in the site and it is easy for someone to sign up for lifetime download everything The Niche Blogger offers then ask for a refund just so they can have everything for free. All the other types are eligible for a refund except lifetime. (There were only a few people who did this.)

The Truth:
I claim to make $5,000 a month from blogging, which is the TRUTH. Yes overall I make more than $5,000 a month, but I make sure to only claim actually blogging income on my sales page because that is the honest thing to do.

The Truth:
Don't base your decision on one person's opinion. Look up on the internet different reviews of The Niche Blogger to get more opinions. Do your research.
