This is a copy of the report I have already sent to the Learning Annex and to the CA Attorney General's office:

In August 2007, I paid the Raymond Aaron Group $1072.11 to enroll in their 17 month "Monthly Mentoring Program," which offers a 100% full money-back guarantee if the program didn't help me realize my goals. The company (promoted by the Learning Annex...so don't trust them either) promises that as long as customers fill out the required goal forms each month and contact them whenever they are having difficulties achieving their goals, that the company will honor their guarantee if customers are dissatisfied with the results they achieve. They state that, customers will "get all of their money back" through the company's "Better-Than-Risk-Free, No-Hassle triple Guarantee".

After reading their "Iron Clad Guarantee", I decided their was little risk involved and gladly paid their program fee. Then, for 17 months, I religiously followed the instructions in the program, filling out the required forms each month which listed my goals and how I was going to achieve them. After a few months, nothing new was happening in my life and my goals were not being realized at all. As a matter of fact, my life was taking a turn for the worse, and I eventually lost my job and then had to foreclose on my home. I then contacted the Raymond Aaron Group, as required, to complain that their program wasn't working.

Instead of helping me with mentoring and advice as they told me in their sales pitch, they had people call me and ask me to sign up for real estate investment courses at rediculously high prices. I wasn't interested in wasting more money, so I politely declined and continued following their Monthly Mentoring program rigidly month after month hoping my goals would eventually be realized. Then, after the end of 17 months (December 31st, 2008), I wrote Mr. Aaron a long letter detailing why the program had not worked for me and that none of my goals had been realized, despite the fact that I followed all his advice and directions.

I also went into detail about why my life was actually markedly worse off now than it had been when I started his course. I then asked for a 100% refund citing the "Iron Clad Guarantee" he offered when I paid for his program. I then received an email from one of his office staff demanding that I turn over all my written forms which I had completed the past seventeen months so that I could prove to them I had followed the program's instructions to the letter. I pointed out to them that submitting my completed forms for their verification was not one of the requests stipulated in their guarantee, and that besides, I had many of my very personal thoughts and feelings written down over the past 17 months, and I was not about to fax all my very private writings to his staff for their review.

It was a rediculous request, which I'm sure the company uses frequently in order to intimidate customers from requesting refunds. I'm sure that many people, such as myself, would never consider sharing their private writings with strangers. After all, they requested my money after asking for my trust and backing up their request for my trust with an "Iron Clad Guarantee". Then, after wasting the past 17 months of my life on their ineffective program, they have the audacity to ask me to prove that I stuck by their program! They are dishonestly trying to manipulate their guarantee so they don't have to honor it. Obviously, this is very unfair to their trusting customers!

In Summary, I clearly honored my part of the guarantee with the Raymond Aaron Group, but they proved to be a dishonorable company that doesn't back up their guarantee. By the way, this program was offered through the Learning Annex, so don't trust this company either...they'll promote anyone as long as they can get $$ out of it!

On January 6th, 2009, I entered a complaint against the Raymond Aaron Group because they were resisting paying me a refund I was due.
