I tried to cancel a subscription my husband apparently made on the phone. He has Alzheimer's so I wanted to stop payments of $29.90 a month. We have not received any magazines. i closed his credit card account so they had a collector call Today. I got the name of the company off our statement and called them to cancel, but they would not and wanted $560 immediately.i was told if my husband has AltZheimers, to send a doctors letter to them. I refuse to do this. We should be able to cancel, especially since no magazines have come. They had already taken $19.90 out for last month.This company is a sham! I have never heard of a subscription you cannot cancel! They take advantage of elderly people!
