Thecarstorema.com Marc Epstein False advertising, Ripoff, sold an unusable vehicle Milford Massachusetts 

I purchased a used vehicle with 82,000 miles from a thrvarstorema.com owned by Marc Epstein. Prior to the purchase, Mr. Epstein assured me the vehicle had no significant issues beyond a faulty headliner. Relying on his representations, I completed the transaction and had the vehicle shipped to me. Upon arrival, I discovered significant undisclosed defects: the engine barely ran, the transmission wouldn’t shift properly, and the brakes were non-functional. Additionally, the CARFAX report showed a concerning issue with the vehicle. When I inquired, the dealership dismissed it as an error and assured me it would be resolved, but this has not happened - nothing has happened.  

I immediately contacted the dealership to address these problems. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the matter via email and text, conducted approximately once every one to two weeks and always polite the dealership has ceased communication. All correspondence has been recorded.

Since purchasing the vehicle, I have incurred substantial expenses trying to make it roadworthy. I have spent $3,000 to repair the brake system and $600 to fix water leaking from the sunroof. $6,000 more for the engine and transmission, but I am unable to afford these repairs in full. The vehicle remains unsafe and virtually unusable, which has caused significant financial and emotional strain.

I entered into this transaction in good faith, trusting the dealer’s assurances. The undisclosed defects and the dealer’s lack of response have left me in a difficult position. Completely lied to my family that saved, paid cash and did so with the expectation that we had a car that was usable.
