I purchased three Therapure Air Purifiers (model 201) from my local Wal-Mart store approximatley nine months ago. A few days ago one of the models stopped functioning. I called the number on the bottom for customer service since the product is under warranty. I was told to ship my defective model in at my expense. Then the company would ship me a replacement for 30.00. Ultimately, I would spend 60.00 in shipping for an 80.00 air purifier. It never occured to me Id have any out of pocket expenses on a product that is still under warranty.
