In regards to the Timeshare Consumer Coalition....

I went on as a telecommute contract with this company with promises of great pay and fulfilling work. In their defense , this WILL be a great telecommute job someday... Until then their contractors may experience the following:

Checks don't arrive on time

Training is not concurrent with "their" policy (There is a reason that you must sign a non-compete before you train, the fulfillment office is amazing- I should have went to work with them)

Disorganization to the point of nausea (The owners change policy overnight but don't fell it necessary to tell the contractors anything, but they speak up loud and clear when you do something that " is against the policy that they made up yesterday")

Grossly misrepresented wages (the phone does not ring- and only half as$ works, the advertised wage is $750 part time- I never broke $200. To add insult to injury, I kept getting call ins from prospective contractors looking for work- but the existing staff does not have enough to do as it is)

Long periods (even the full day) of no calls to process (I begged for work, yet I spent most of my day playing online games)

And above all  - DO NOT COMPLAIN (My check was short, when I brought it up to management, they became very defensive. Then without notice I was locked out of the system and told via email that I needed to let them know if I still wanted to work and that they would look into my check. I emailed back a yes, and was answered in writing that my company access would be restored- it wasn't. The management didn't even have enough professionalism to call or email me and notify me that they didn't want to further my contract.)

SUMMARY:

Great place to work if you like working for free, never knowing what you are doing, and dealing with constant reprimands because of the always "evolving in the dark" policies. Granted they did sort of pay me my earned wages, but as stated before $150 a week for 25 hours is a far cry from the $750 per week that was advertised. I loved speaking to the people, I did learn a lot- but the management needs a serious overhaul. This company should not have more than 2 contractors.

Timeshare cancellation the best solution

AUTHOR: SBrittany - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, December 17, 2013

Timeshare cancellation is the real solution to get out of a timeshare. When properly cancelling a timeshare, there is no further strings attached to the resort. It is important (however), to know the rules of timeshare cancellation. There are lots of companies that just want to make an easy buck and will even guarantee to recover all monies paid... if you pay them an upfront fee. This is an extension to the original scam. Never pay upfront to sell, rent, donate or cancel a timeshare contract. Do your homework and investigate the company you will choose to assist you with the cancellation of your timeshare contract as there are many who will tell you (what you would like to hear in order to empathize with you and get your business.) whatever necessary to get more money out of you
