Titan Roofing and restoration Rick Richter, Billy E Richter Buyers/Contractors/suppliers beware! Roofing Company Scams salesmen as well as Customers Mt Juliette, Tennessee

I worked as a salesman for this company for several years. The owner never returns calls when he owes you money, when he does return calls he lies and says checks in the mail, but its always weeks or months before you actually get paid and there is always an excuse on why your check wasnt what its suppose to be(example-the insurance company refused the supplement we sent so there is barely any profit). They hire salesmen to sell the jobs then when the production manager doesnt handle the job in a timely fashion they tell the customer that the salesmen dropped the ball. They lost almost ALL staff and salesmen they had in Nashville office as well as in Knoxville. They are a storm chasing company that opens offices in a storm hit area, signs alot of contracts, finishes the roofing right away but not the rest of the damage repair which is then dragged out over a year so they do not have to pay their sales people and payoff customers who complain to the BBB.

They owner is an Ex-Storm adjuster and knows how to get away with stiffing the sales force as well as using unfamiliar sub contractors to do the jobs. ALL of the Employees are contracted and usually the liability Insurance information is either expired or incorrect when coming to a new town. The name is confusing as there are several other companies using the name Titan so they get alot of jobs intended for Titan Exteriors and other good companies. Currently I have customers who were contracted in Knoxville in May of 2011 who still have not had their repairs completed as well as another salesman I know with over 13 that also have not been completed. I contacted the Dept of Labor and am in the process of filing a claim in small Claims court now to sue the owner for the commisions he owes me. I also know that numerous suppliers will not allow them to get materials until they pay back the 90k in materials they owe for now. I have tried daily to discuss my commissions with the owner who will not return my calls or return text messages after he has told me time after time money is in the mail,  I sent it overnight and other excuses. Beware of this company and do not pay your insurance proceeds until your job is completed.
