Today in America calls our company every month with the same scam. They say that they are doing some variation of a story and want to speak to our CEO. They try to say that they are producers but over the years we know they are just telemarketers trying to get us to bite on their scam. This fake paid programming time tv scam has been around for a long time. It must be profitable because we get called by 3-4 different so called show at least 5 times monthly. Its always a canned intro by a c rated celebrity with a name of a show you never heard of or have ever seen. I am surprised that these scams are allowed to keep thriving and that the authorities have not cracked down on these illegal business practices. We are calling the FTC as well as the Attorney General as we understand that this outfit has already been investigated. In this economy it is a real tragedy that unsuspecting comipanies and cities spend precious dollars on a scam where there are much more needted areas. To give money to these scammers and the way in which they lie at every turn is something that should not be allowed to continue. I hope that other companies that are fed up call the authorities as this is illegal in so many different ways.
