Tommy Windham presents himself as a very wealthy film financier and real estate investor. He claims to have over 10 million dollars available for immediate investment and provides fake bank statements showing the non-existent funds.

Recently, Windham contacted a group of filmmakers in LA and proposed to finance their upcoming movie, a horror film with several very known actors. Given pending lawsuits against Tommy Windham, I am unable to disclose the title of the movie and the names of filmmakers.

Windham signed a contract that he would finance the entire movie and said he would transfer the money to the filmmakers in 2-3 weeks. He claimed that he was having issues with his wife Nona Pitts who runs a beauty salon called Salon 5150 in Brea, CA. Tommy Windham said that he needed to do this transaction without her knowing and had planned to transfer the money to his lawyer’s account who would then wire it to the film production’s bank account.

Given Windham's many written and verbal assurances and his very calm and sincere manner, the filmmakers trusted that Windham was genuine and excited about making the movie.

In these weeks, Windham communicated with the filmmakers on a daily basis and made many requests: he wanted to meet with the actors and take photos with them, asked for VIP invitations to film premieres and other events in LA, he asked the director to cast an unknown "actress" (a woman that he is having an affair with) in the movie, etc. What is so slimy about Tommy Windham is that he demanded for any religious references to be removed from the script because he is a devout Christian, yet he has no problem cheating on his wife with other women!

The filmmakers accepted every request to not jeopardize Windham’s investment. But as the date on which he had to wire the money came and went, Windham came up with many excuses to push for more time… He disappeared for weeks and resurfaced saying that his phone was broken, that he was at the hospital for health issues, that was very busy because he is actually financing a movie for STEVEN SPIELBERG…!!!

The weeks of waiting for Windham to make the payment that he had contractually agreed to turned into months. Obviously no money was ever received. The filmmakers had to stop the production and are now also in debt because of Windham's actions.  The film crew lost their jobs, some are severely struggling financially because of this.

Tommy Windham has now disappeared. The filmmakers have done some research on him and the results are shocking.

MILOKNAYWEINER LLP, the law firm whose name Windham used in the investment contract has confirmed that that they haven’t had any contact with him for years. He is not their client and he has no permission to use their name.

On Tommy Winhdam's IMDb page, there is a photograph in which he is handling a cheque to a filmmaker whose movie Windham was supposedly funding (as the photo’s caption says). The person that he is handing the cheque to was contacted and he has confirmed that Windham is an absolute fraud. The cheque that Windham handed to him turned out to be a fake, the account didn’t even exist.

Several other producers and filmmakers were contacted and they have all said the same things about Windham — that he is pathological liar, a conman, a fraud who likes the feeling of being involved in the movie business but has no money and has never invested in a movie or produced anything in his life.

We noticed that Windham likes to go to VIP events and talk to young actresses, approaching them as a wealthy film investor and promising them roles in his upcoming movies in exchange for sexual requests. It is sickening that people like Windham take advantage of other people's dreams and con them for his own disgusting gain.

Windham has conned many filmmakers over the years. One of them is currently in hiding and shared to us to have also contemplated suicide at one point, because of the professional repercussions that they had from Windham’s false promises.

All the many victims of Tommy Windham's scams have been silent because he threatens to sue them for millions of dollars if they try to disclose their stories. Unfortunately most filmmakers struggle financially and cannot afford to fight back, Windham takes advantage of this.

People have been trying to track him down at Seal Beach, Santa Ana and Brea but there is no trace of him at present.

For anyone who gets approached by Windham, whether it is an actress that he promises a role, a filmmaker whose movie he wants to “fully finance” or any real estate deal, DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD HE SAYS, STAY AWAY!
