I have just leased a property through Canadian Dominion Homes Inc 2 months ago and was dealing with the owner of this compnay Eli Levinson.  I paid rent up font for the entire year which Mr. Levinson confirmed was given to the owners of the property when I was moving into the unit.  I just got a call from the owners and his lawyer stating they had not been paid any amount by CDH and asked me to recover the funds from the company as they had disappeared and were no longer aswering their phones.  After a number of emails and phone calls trying to get a hold of anyone from this company I decided to file a report with the Toronto Police.  I was told that the company and the owner Eli Levinson is under investigation for fraud and it's unlikely I would be able to recover this money.  

To protect myself I have proceeded to seek legal assistance and am working with the owners to gather evidence to persue lagal action against Canadian Dominion Homes.  Through my research I have come across 6 tenants and 10 Landlords/Home Owners who have fell victim to Canadian Dominion Home Inc and are trying to find any leads that can get them to Eli Levinson or any of the company's agents.

This situtation has caused a great deal of stress for me and my wife.  It's extremely disappointing and scary to know that we live amongst thieves and con artists who like to take advantage of hard working citizens.

I have three properties to them so far and i am having problem in each one of them. they owe me approx $40,000 from all proeprties. even today i had a court date and noone showes up there.

they have been collecting rent from the tenants and not paying me. they charge one month rent to find you a tenant but in my case they charge me one month rent as well as they were charging $50 extra from tenant. And now they are not picking up phone and not replying any emails. they are the worst company i have ever dealt with.i have all the proofs against them. 

i would highly recommend everyone not to hire this company either by tenants and landlords.

Anyone with information on Elisha Levison, goes by the name Eli Levinson whereabouts is requested to post for the many home owners like myself who have fell victim to his fraudulent schemes designed to steal hard working peoples money. His company website www.cdominionhomes.com is down and he has shut down his office located at 3660 Hurontario St #403, Mississauga, ON L5B. This despicable and violent man must be brought to justice. I'm claiming over $35,000 in rent arrears and damages to my rental properties.

 Hello I am a tenant who is renting through this company. I just received word from the home owner of the unit I am renting that the management company has disappeared and that he has not received the rent I have been paying through Canadian Dominion Homes. I am now in a situation where I have to pay rent twice because of their failure to transfer the funds to the landlord. I also do not think I will ever get my deposit. Their website is no longer working and no one answers at any of the numbers listed under Canadian Dominion Homes. The agent that I had was Aaron. I am sure there are many others who have fallen victim, I suggest everyone call the Landlord and tenant board of Ontario and file a complaint.
