I thought this program was no longer being offered

I, thought this program was no longer being offered plains commerce bank worked for me also for 12 months & until I had an unauthorized charge I opened the account with plains commerce bank 02/2005 I always made my payments ontime
then around 01/2006 I had an unauthorized charge, I disputed the unauthorize charge & plains commerce bank requested that I mail the copies of letters or e-mails I did so then plains commerce bank lied saying they never received the
documents & wrongfully closed the dispute. Plains commerce bank, only refunded $100 & credited the rest of the $150 but I could not use the credit sense the account was closed, 60 days after the dispute I received a letter stating my
account was closed due the program no longer being offered, & yet I keep reading new comments saying how great there experince was with plains commerce bank. This, is a warning to everyone be cautious who u give your credit card # cause they can charge anything, with what u did not agree to this is what happend in
my situation & plains commerce bank refused to credit my money back on my card. Things, was working well up till this problem so I did not get to use the full $250 only $100 of it.

Total Visa worked for me

I have had Total Visa for several years now, and while their interest rate is 19%, that's the same as many others, and lower, in fact, than the Chase Visa I just got! Any my credit score is much better now than when I got Tota!! Figure THAT one out!
My credit score is now in the average range, and it's due in part to this card. I check my credit score periodically, and this one always shows up on there, and is listed as "pays on time". And the only time I've had late fees associated with it are when I've made a mistake and missed the date. It's normal Visa, and I can use it anywhere. Well, anywhere but right at the gas pump. They want you to have to use the Visa inside the gas stations. That's the only inconvenience I've had.
Yes, it costs $200 to sign up, but I've never heard of the $10 monthly fee listed by another positive comment in here. It was the flat $200, and I just paid it up front, so I didn't have to worry about paying it down.
I don't ask for credit line increases, because as most people don't know, every time you ask for a credit line increase, your credit is checked. Every time your credit is checked, it lowers your score! I've only asked for and received one increase.
One person stated they couldn't find a website for the company. Their website I use to pay my bills is myccpay.com, and if they've received a Total card, the TOLL FREE number is listed right on the back. I've never had a bad experience with them at all.
This card is definitely worth it if you're trying to rebuild or build credit. And again, at 19%, it's cheaper than my Chase Visa!
