*Consumer Comment: You have to protect yourself now
On dec 18 2016, My auto was hit in the rear causing my car to be totaled. Other insurance company paid a total of $12,535.67 within two months, the remaining amount owed is $3.100.00 to be paid to the lien holder P.N.C.Bank from my coverage with Total Warranty Services, Have sent all necessary papers requested by TWS, EVERY two weeks they request more information, again I send more proof along with my attorneys letters. Today August 9,2017 have read my credit report which has gone down because payments have not been made to the lien holder for the balance. It has affected my credit with a negitive mark.

You have to protect yourself now

Looks like that company, Total Warranty Service, is a total ripoff. It says they have GAP along with other warranty services but I notice their website is brand new and they have no physical address. The proof is that they haven't paid your claim in 8 months. I would do as you are doing - reporting your experience to every consumer website. Now you need to protect yourself too. You have an attorney but they rarely handle such small claims ($3k). You will need to pay off your deficiency to protect your credit and then go after this company that stiffed you. Unfortunately it is up to you to keep making payments until the vehicle loan is paid off even if you have GAP and other insurance. Hopefully you get damages from them and put them out of business.
PS I notice that their website is devoted to getting the F&I department to see their warranty service and is not consumer oriented at all. Looks like you were ripped off by the warranty company and the dealership that sold you this bogus warranty. Maybe you can interest your attorney in suing the dealership for knowingly selling a "warranty" with a company that doesn't pay claims.
