I am moving out of the country and Total Woman Gym would charges a cancellation fee even in this case, which is subtracted from the refund. They claim that this is written in the contract. In 2016 I signed up with Total Woman Gym and paid a yearly membership. 

I am moving out of the country and Total Woman Gym would charges a cancellation fee even in this case, which is subtracted from the refund. The cancellation fee (50$ if less than 50% of the membership is left, 100$ otherwise) even when you move away more than 25 miles. 

It is poor policy to charge a customer a cancellation fee for cases that are obviously outside of his/her control. Total Woman Gym may claim that this is written in the contract -- correct. However, you only receive the contract AFTER joining.
