Trade GainsFX Century Investment Global Century Capitals trading and investments Took my money, make great returns but suspended my account asking me to get an FCA certificate for $7,500 Sanford Florida

I connected with Sofia Oilela on linkedin and discussed the Trade GainsFX platform as I am interested in doing some forex trading.  Funding the account through bitcoin wasnt that strange as I have used crypto for other things so I put a small amount into Trade GainsFX with Sofia with the understanding it was more of a managed account, and I like to diversify so thought I would give it a try.  

Within a couple days the account showed thousands of dolloars of profit but with no history or record as to what was being traded, which I thought was very strage.  Another day passes and more profits roll in.  I get suspicious so I start digging into the TradeGainsFX web page and found these things.

The address at the top as a parking lot in florida with no buidling - looked like a storage lot for rental cars. The phone number at the top goes to a google voice number that never gets answered

Under the about link > I clicked on 'Download Certificate' that shows they are 'certified' .  This looks to be fake, comes from London and the address on that certificate is for a company named 'Centruy Capitals trading and investments' and the address is 5042 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90036 - look up that address and it is an oriental mail and shiping storefront.

There are other phone numbers on different pages in the site and none of them worked - all were disconnected.  All social media links all go to the same home page - nothign goes to any real social media page

Sofia asked to move our conversation from linkedin chat to whatsapp - ok fine a bit faster etc.. then the next day her linkedin profile is gone.  I ask about that and she said it was suspended and she will get her page back up in no time (a few weeks now and still no sign).

I then find the Trade GainsFX linkedin page and I look at all the people in there - I connect to some of them and ask about the legitimacy of Trade GainsFX.  All of them were women with pictures of giving a speach, graduated from one university and are some sort of an account manager with trade GainsFX.  All of them communicated in broken english for the most part.

I then did a reverse image search on some of the ones I connected with and searched on them - looks that another RippOff report had some of the same people (same images, some of the same names, some differnet names).

I then contacted the FCA in the UK and could not find Trade GainsFX or any of the other company names.  When FCA support got back with me based on my explanation, they said this is more than likely a scam as no authorised broker would ask a customer to pay for a FCA certificate.

I also had a long chat with support in the Trade GainsFX website and they would not release my funds (requires a FCA certificate and gave me a bitcoin wallet to send $7,500 to get that taken care of) they would also not tell me who the overarching brokerage is (said it was confidential).  FCA says don't deal with anyone that isn't listed in their registry and all info is public domain and encouraged to be searched.

So - avoid at all costs, do not invest in something that is too good to be true, never be pressured to invest to get profits quickly.
