trademarks-inc.com "Julie Edwards" selling car scam post on Kijiji; Edmonton from Detroit. Send to you risk free for 5 days New York, New York

A poster going by the name of Julie Edwards (doubt it is her or his real name), posted an ad on Kijiji to sell a car in Edmonton. After contacting her she said that she was selling the car really cheap because she needed the money urgently. After replying she then said that she was living in Detroit and was selling her car because her husband got this great job  and was given a car by his company. This is when I became weary as the story was changed and why would you need monry urgently if your husband got such a great promotion. Also, the emails were all in broken english.

I decided to keep pursuing to see where it would take me, going as far to give "her" a fake address. I got the "invoice" from "ebay" which I could tell right away was not an official ebay email. I had previously tried searching "Julie's" email address but no searches came up. Then, after recieving the "invoice", I searched ebay@trademarks-inc.com with several responses including reports linked to this website.

I did not get scammed, thanks to this site (and some common sense about internet scamming and safety) and hope that no one else well. I also hope that this person is found and charged!
