TribuNYC Inga Purmalis Brittany Goodman Appears to be an illegitimate business New York New York

I applied for a Communications Assistant position at TribuNYC last night. This morning, about 12 hours later, I recieved an email from someone named Inga Purmalis regarding an interview to take place the following day. This seemed an extremely quick turnaround, and I was surprised.

I looked up the company's address (690 8th ave, floor 3) which actually brought up this post in one of the top results:

after which I became extremely skeptical of TribuNYC's validity. Their website indicates they work with Fortune 500 companies, but doesn't list any, and the "Team" section only shows one employee. All of their copy is vague boilerplate fluff that doesn't say mention any specific goals, accomplishments, or statistics.

They have a small section of photos that seem very professional, but very generic -- there is no personality, nuance, or coherent "theme" to suggest they were not taken from elsewhere on the internet. 

I couldn't find any social media presence, or presence anywhere beyond Indeed.com and their own website. I found there is another digital marketing firm called Tribu that has been operating in Texas since 2011 (https://wearetribu.com/). I contacted them about it, and someone there stated they have no connection to this company that is utilizing their name. 

I haven't responded to TribuNYC's email or their text message offering me an interview, and I don't intend to.
