the reason that i am sending this report is because this company is a rip off.
when i applied for this card i had a credit limit of $300 when i got the card i was told that my line of credit was only $97
my balance was a total of 179.00 then i purchased somethings which brought my balance to $228.39 now my balance is $290.00
i had $17.00 left on my available credit now its $9.00 w
when icalled i was told that $6.15 was taking out none of this was explained to me .i thought once you are approved for a credit card you are suppose to be able to use the credit limit that you were approved for.

I have a Tribute Card also. Did you bother to read the agreement before you applied for the card?
Because you have a less than desireable credit score, Tribute has a yearly fee of $150 and an activation fee of $29 which they put on your card as your initial balance. This is to be expected for those of us that don't have a great score.
This information was posted in your agreement before you even gave consent to the credit check. You do have a credit limit of $300, but you have to take care of your yearly fee and activation fee before you can use all of that $300.
