A young black female introduced herself as Sonya Hobson and said she was selling magazines to help herself "get on a better track in life". She explained a point system that would enable her to get some reward for accumulating a certaing number of points for each subscription she sold. My husband gave her a $50 check on 1/26/07 for a 2-year subscription to National Geographic for Kids (20 issues). When the magazine didn't start coming within the 120 days specified on the receipt, we decided to look into it.
