Tru Automall In Berlin KEEPS MY DEPOSIT ON A CAR I NEVER TEST DRIVE Berlin Connecticut

Do not go to Tru Automall in Berlin, CT. They have nice BMWs, Audis, and I looked at a VW Jetta. I went in on a Sunday and worked with Gilbert who told me my deposit would be completely refunded if I didn't want the car. The car was locked behind a fence so I couldn't test drive it when I went to look at it. There were a bunch of buttons missing in the interior, the brake light was on, it made an awful noise when I turned it on. The ad read, "automatic everything!" but the seats weren't automatic and I wanted to see the car once it was fixed up. I asked for the numbers for both $0 down and $2000 down which Gilbert "roughly" did for me. I also asked for no one to call me on Monday because I had 3 meetings. Monday comes, my phone rings, Harry Ranney leaves a message and then calls my work number! My meeting is interrupted with a second phone call on my cell (she transfers my calls to my cell) and so I am told to "go ahead and take it." It's not a customer! It's the car dealership I asked not to call me. Then he never tells me if I'm approved by the bank, what my interest rate is, or how much my monthly payments will be....he calls on Tuesday asking me to get my insurance switched over?!!?!?! I haven't seen the car since it was a pile of metal locked behind a gate! His response to that, "you have the warranty if anything isn't working/breaks down." Who wants to hear that when buying a car?!?!? We want to hear it's good as new, dumb as*!!! I decide I don't like his tactics. I have never put insurance on a car without knowing what my interest rate is or monthly payments will be. He is sarcastic and rude on the phone as well. He wants to keep my deposit I left for the car because I "mislead him." I feel mislead. I wanted numbers, a test drive, and a better experience. I'm going to his local police department tomorrow. Mine says I will have no problem getting my money back.
