The Trump Institute is one of many people that purchase the right to use Donald Trump's name based on information I got from one of their employees a few years ago. I just found this site and wish I had known it was here before now.

Apparently one of the ways Mr. Trump makes money is to franchise or sell the use of his name so a new business can gain quick visiblity and give them the appearance of association with a reputable established business. He should have the potential clients that want to buy the use of his name more detailed vetting before putting his name them.
