Ugly Duckling, Drive Time, Fan Distributing ripoff credit destroyer and harrassment masters Tampa Florida

Fan Distributing is a party to this contract as an assignee of the creditor. The contract states that interest continues to accrue until the debt is settled or paid by the debtor. Even should the debt be beyone the Statute of Limitations of a particular state (and every state has a different Statute of Limitations), this does not mean that the debt is extinguished. Nor does it mean that the debt cannot be collected.

Who were the parties? I would guess its NOT between Fan Distributing and the customers. If its not between your company and them, I dare say its illegal to charge interest. I am sure there are other people here on ROR that are more familiar with that then I am.

Of course as shady as Drivetime/Ugly Duckling is, it would NOT suprise me if Fan Distributing is crooked.

James and Gloria have accounts which have been delinquent for many years. In order to try to resolve these outstanding debts, they were contacted to attempt to work out satisfying these outstanding debt balances. They were offered a substantial discount, as their balances had increased substantially since they had been accruing interest as specified by the contract between the parties.

Fan Distributing is successor in interest to Ugly Duckling regarding this collection account. The balance due referred to as 'inflated' includes accrued interest.
