I was contacted on March 7th by saleperson Kevin from Ultimate Rental Getaways about a vacation package. He sold me a $996.00 vacation package. After I spoke to my husband I called kevin back with the number he provided that he claimed was his afterhours. I called him back with in 5 hours. I spoke to him and told him I wanted to cancel. He did not try to convince me to keep it and said he would let the office know in the morning.

On Friday March 8th I went straight down to LaPorte Federal Credit Union to put a block on it. They informed me the process had already been submitted and begun and they could not stop it. I called the office immediately, in less than 12 hours after initial call while I was at Credit Union. I informed the person I was speaking to Vanessa, of what the conversation was with Kevin and he had said no problem cancelling and would inform the office. She said Kevin has nothing to do with her office and that I had purchased the vacation package and had been recorded. I informed her several times I wanted to cancel and it was with in 24 hours.

On Monday I called Attorney Barry Freeman. The Attorney informed me I had 72 hours to have cancelled and they should return my money, no matter what. Attoney Freeman said it sounded like a ripoff. The credit union said I could not do anything until it was processed. I contacted Karen Campos at LaPorte Credit Union and filed a fraud complaint on Thursday March 21, 2019.  I want my credit card accredited $996.00 back on my card. Can you please help me.? I filed it with FT Lauderdale BBB. I am going to wait to contact Attorney Generals office.
