Unicare Dental Overcharges does unnecessary work poor customer service! Webster Texas

I've known for a while I needed to get dental work done. I picked this place because they were listed on my insurance providers and were the closest to my house. I went in for a routine cleaning, and was told I needed some fillings and an implant. I was strongly encouraged to get crowns on the fillings. The dentist said if I didn't there was a good change the teeth would break, and would have to be pulled. The estimate was for over $10,000. (This is without the implant) They pushed me to apply for "care credit" which would finance the entire thing. When I mentioned getting a second opinion, they took 15% off the estimate. When I still mentioned a second opinion, they took another 10% of the price. The dentist, Dr. Noie told me he would guarantee the crowns for "life", meaning no matter what happens, he would replace them for free. I then paid for the filings and crowns (OVER 7k)

Let me tell you, before I paid them, they were very friendly, and could set up my appointment any time I needed. After they were paid, and I needed to come in to get the crowns put in, the only available apointments were in the morning when I'm supposed to be at work. I have already lost 4 sick days at my job, and the office staff are very rude and uncaring about it. Now that they have my money, when I go in, they bring me to the back, and keep me waiting 2 hours while the dentist works on three people at a time. I've been back several times because unfortunately, the crowns don't fit, and they have to keep taking new impressions. It has taken over 4 months to get the crowns to fit.

Now that I'm supposed to be "finished" , they are "finding" other problems. It's obvious this is a fishing expedition to see how much I'm willing to pay. I will NEVER go back to this place. I am in the process of reporting them to my insurance company. Ive been checking online what dental procedures should cost, and this place charges 3-5 times what everyone else does. Next time I will do my research.
