I am sorry for You that you don't have anything better to do in life but to stare at our postings every day and ridicule us.  No matter what you stay it will not stop us so I suggest you go find something else to ridicule and ignorantly judge buddy because you really have no clue  what you are talking about.  If you do continue, that is your choice, clearly you get a rise from it.

Please; I think everybody wants to know exactly how YOU made the decision to join a group that relies on donations from others, and that YOU made the choice to stay after years and years and...YEARS (according to your earlier post about this not being a real band...) Honestly, How do you expect people to take you seriously when there are posts on the other site you named with Band members pictures in the signature. Could you try baiting people a little more? Either your pathetic leader is putting you all up to this for some form of gratification, or he's incredibly stupid to not notice that it's all his own members posting this nonsense. STOP IT! Seriously, for your own good. You tribe people need to just stop. You're not doing yourselves any good by drawing this negative attention to yourselves. From what I saw on your little promo video you have on your site; nobody was at your show, the music was clearly tracked, and there was no energy on stage at all. I could just turn on "Dance Your a*s Off" and see the same tracked show with awful dancing...and I don't have to leave my couch. Maybe you should learn to edit better.

We live in a time where we are given our freedoms of life, choice and religion.  What a wonderful time and it is sad that there are always predators in each time finding a way to scam people.  It is difficult to help the masses of individuals to understand the pain caused by brainwashing using fear, emotional abuse and psychological control.  I understand how their can be misconceptions and judgments against these victims. Before I went through this experience I thought I was very educated and strong, came from a great family and probably would not have had the understanding and compassion toward cult followers/survivors or abuse survivors that I have now.  Life has humbled me and helped me to understand how even the strongest mind can be manipulated.  A strong sense of self, educated and healthy ego of oneself can be unusually susceptible.  Mostly because this is the type of person who thinks they can never be manipulated by these type of brilliant groups.  So i ask that people that post on this site rise above judgments and understand that we are feeling empowerment and healing by speaking our truth but more importantly we are educating and warning others of the danger of this group and others like it.  We take ourselves very seriously because we have been through a very seriously painful experience, we would appreciate a level of understanding and maturity when reading and responding to our stories.

It is very important that the world we live in continues to give us our freedoms however the compassion and understanding toward groups who take advantage of our freedoms should be stopped.  The masses need to be truly  educated.

We have another site complaintsboard.com where we have posted and I found such a poignant posting written by an individual who was not in the Tribe but was effected by them from the outside.  I felt it necessary to post his position on what he found in dealing with the Tribe, especially about Magic Mendez.

"I have never been associated with this Tribe but I knew Magic a few years ago and I can say this much. He talks the talk but does not walk the walk. You all seem to have so many excuses as to why you can't report your issues, so all you have is these little attempts for attention on here, that honestly only a few late night gossip owls read; and former, bitter band members who never got enough hugs. Ive done a lot of research on Stockholm Syndrome and the term did originally come from a kidnapping in Stockholm, Sweden (1973).  Although the term Stockholm Syndrome is used with many studies of victims who are in any abusive situation such as: abused children, battered/abused woman, controlling/intimidating relationships, and cult members.

On another note, Merl, WOW, youre very insensitive to this group of victims who are trying to heal from a bad situation.  Really? Youre going to call these hurting victims stupid? How mean are you?

How dare anyone discredit my (or anyone's) experience with Magic Mendez of Unified Tribe.  The group is very dangerous!  Yes, there were times when I could have left.  Many abused woman want to leave a bad situation and for countless reasons they can't.  Do you have any knowledge of Stockholm Syndrome?  It's all over the news right now with the Garrido victims.

I am done with you(Merl) and I am done with this site.  Everything that needs to be known is on this site, therefore I am no longer wasting my time.  Merl the fact that you Laughed for an hour after reading our posts shows mountains about what kind of person you are.  YOU GET JOY FROM WATCHING OTHER PEOPLE GO THROUGH PAIN.  That is very very sad.  Continue posting your crap but know you are not going to get anymore reactions from me, clearly you feed off of negativity and hurting your fellow man.  Your posting will go unknown from this point forward.

This is a cult.  It doesn't matter how small or large a cult is or how much of a loser you think the leader is Unified Tribe is a bonified cult.  They do believe in special alien deities and believe that some ship is going to take them up one day.  Magic has brilliant ways of brainwashing and holding members through fear.  Magic frequently talks about committing suicide.  Just these three points expresses that they are a true cult.

I really don't see Magic being something worth dieing for. There is a difference between cultists and fanatics. David Koresh was a fanatic. He rigged the compond at Waco TX with gasoline and explosives. When the ATF tried to enter it, he blew it up, and all of the people he held captive were killed because of his actions. That's not a cult leader, that's a fanatical murderer.

No, sadly, I have not had the pleasure of meeting Magic, or any of the tribe people. Nor do I posess any musical talent other than singing in the shower. I did however purchase your album, and I thought it was really over produced, which i posted about. All of my comments were an attempt to find out more of what's going on here. I read pages and pages of claims and I started to see that this was more of a publicity stunt than an actual rip off.  When I started asking questions about that, I started getting resistance, and a lot of comments back. I read about rich guys giving them money, about instruments being stolen, about rape, and how they do nothing to stop it. I read about a video that supposedly Magic made. Now there is something concrete that you could use to further your cause. When I asked for postings of it, or links, my hopes were that the people making these claims would use that to actually do something with their case against Magic. However, all that happend is that you people think I'm somehow obsessed with wanting to watch old fat musicians screw. I can get backstage passes to a George Clinton concert and watch that. The most repeated claim on here though is about UT being a cult. Is that really your only justification you can give yourselves for making a bad decision in your life, and not doing anything to get out of it? I think it's quite obvious that you people know nothing about cults, and the fact that nobody believes you. You have compleatly distroyed any credit that you may of once had, through all of this bickering, and self glorification. I really feel bad for you people. You are compleatly incapible of moving on with your lives. Come on!  I was defending YOU guys.  How can you appreciate Merls comments? Everything you rebutted was what HE said!  You indicated my comment was from some outsider who didn't know anything.  Screw you!  I have had enough with you all!  You encourage us to keep the posts alive then attack what we say?  Whatever!  I was telling Merl that if he is getting frustrated and bored to quit reading.  All he says is how this seems like a hoax to promote hype for the band. Clearly the last two posts were put out by people who definitely don't understand what a true x-triber went through.  Those of us that have gotten out are doing very well in life and part of our healing is expressing our truth on this site.  Even if an individual does not want to take any further action than just write out the truth of what happened to them they have a right to that.  You can choose to not waste your time, as you say.  We have reasons for doing what we are doing and we do not expect you to get it since you did not go through what we have gone through with Magic Mendez and company. 

I appreciate Merl's comments, it is nice to see someone on the outside of the group seeing what a sham they are and expressing what he observes with this group.  Thank you Merl.  BTW Merl, you are right.  Most of those members are just putting on a good act and are not really as talented as they are leading on to be, especially the horn players.  Good observation.  Everything you said about this group is very true and I would know, I spent almost a decade there.  BTW Oregon I have been working very hard at doing my part and we all are in our own ways. Ok, I am calling on all of the people who invested thousands and thousands into this group.  Some of you lost up to $100,000 from this group investing into this group thinking that you were investing into a sure win and realized they were just parasites and sucked as much  from you as they have been doing with anyone that would pay any attention to them.  Please do something about how horribly this group and especially Magic really screwed you over.  I don't understand how you can sit back  thousands of dollors poorer due to them lying to you without seeking justice.  These people are criminals.  There is absolutely tax evasion issues and possibly other criminal activity closely related.  The obvious sure step into jail is the rape of a minor however he will probably get away with that one because his vicitims are doing there best to move on with their lives and especially don't want to be reminded about how this sick b*****d(Magic) raped them when they were underaged.

Anyhow, come on people these sickos really need to be stopped
