Union Trust Finance Inc. Non-Resident Government service tax Scam recieved a check for $4,800 St. John New Foundland - Canada

This may be another example of the Global Finantial rip-off. I recieved a check for $4,800 with a letter to call a claim agent (David Johnson). The number given is 1-604-779-7704. I haven't called, nor do I intend to call about this. I did check and the area code leads to BC. Canada. Supposidly the check is to cover payment of Canadian Non-Resident Government Service Tax (GST). The tax agent is listed as Evelyn Bradley, 2010 Mission Rd. St. John, NF, Canada, V5C8M3. The tax ammount is $2,800.00 USD. The Payment options are Western union and Moneygram. The letter is signed by Michael Smith (Promotions Manager)
