Unique, was a horrible "company" with HORRIBLE people!!

My husband and I use to "work" for Unique (in 02-03). We thought it would be a dream...we were young and had just found out that we were going to be having a child. We saw the ad in the paper called and had an interview the next week. We went in together and talked with "the manager" at the time. (Mark, I think was his name). He told us about himself and talked about church, it was as if we were talking to an old friend. Needless to say we fell for him and his bs. We paid them the money they wanted, it would come back to us in the long run right?!? Anyway, we started our "training", which wasn't anything but sitting in a room listening to the manager say the same thing over and over just in different words. They had my husband doing things for Mr. M and he had met him, so that was good, so we though. Well after alittle bit I started feeling "the symptoms" of pregnancy and got to where I wasn't attending much of anything with them. Boy did they buckle down on my husband then. (Looking back I often wonder if the mere fact that we were young and knowing we were with child just made it so much easier for them to take advantage of us.) Well my husband kept it, he just wanted to support his soon to be family. No harm in that! Mark left, finally the red flag went up in my head...if this place is so good why are people leaving something so great?!? This man was talking about getting married and having kids! Why would you walk out on your GREAT job? Even the receptionist (Angela, I believe)! What was wrong with this place? So the new manager comes in (an older woman, I don't remember her name). I soon said no more and told my husband my doubts about the place. He still wanted to try ( he just couldn't believe that people could be so heartless and cruel to take advantage of people like that). Not too long after managers changed once again. This time a female named Jamie. My husband went in one afternoon to get some supplies and introduced himself. She kept him there for awhile talking about the company and where he was on his pins (which he never recieved). She then started offering him alcohol (knowing he was underage); it didn't stop there though, after she came him drink after drink, she started touching him and being every sexual with him. Needless to say not only did they ruin us financialy but also as a family. It's sad to know that there is people like that in this world. No matter what age or race someone is, we are all equal and should be treated the way you would want to be treated!! SORRY a*s COMPANY FULL OF SORRY a*s PEOPLE!
