Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...
Paid off loan, check cleared bank on 1-4-2008. Many Certified letters were sent to them requesting the Title to the auto. I received a California DMV form - not filled out and not signed however it had a notary stamp and notary signature. Of course DMV would not accept it. It is now past mid May and no title. They are still the legal owners.
Am taking them to court for equitable relief soon. Final demand sent to them.
It has been 5 month of frustration.

If you have not recieved your title yet I would suggest getting a Carfax report to see if the title was transfered upon payoff.
I have a situation much the same. It' too bad we can't communicate to compare notes.
