United Legal Investigation Department (alex Smith) (alex Green) phone scam! tried to get me to pay over 5,000 dollars Anaheim California

yesterday at 10:00am 3\10\09, I was at work and i received a letter from my boss which came from the front office.. the letter stated that there was a call from a "law firm" and there was a medical emergency..I was supposed to call immediately.the phone number was (714) 333-2945..the man i was to speak with was named Alex Smith.

When I had time, i called. First thing i heard was an extremely large amount of background noise..The guy had an indian accent..He asked if i had some kind of attorney number..i told him i didnt know what that was..he asked me 2 more time.i said i dont know what this is about..i just got a message at work..he kept trying to get me to give him info about somthing..it wa hard to understand him. then he asked me my name..i told him..then he said my last 4 digits of my ss number and asked it it was me..i said yes..then he said my email address..i said yes thats it..i kept saying whats this about?? he told me that i had court tomorrow in california..i said ya well there is no way..you must hame me mixed up with someone else..he insisted that i was the right person..

i told him that there was an alex smith that called..he told me to hold on..3 min later he got back on and said he had somthing to read to me.every time i tried to say something, he told me to be quiet and not interupt. very rude. he read somthing about how i owe some company over $5000.00..i said that not possible..but he kept saying that i did or i would have to go to court...he read whatever it was for about 4 minutes..but i couldnt understand half of it..i never did get to speak with "ALEX SMITH"..he put me on hold again and i hung up the phone..

well today at 11:30 am 3\11\09 i got another letter from my boss..they called again..the message said if i didnt show up for court tomorrow at 11:00am in cali or call that they would call the cops..i immediately went and called..same thing happened..lots of backround noise..but this time it was a women with an indian accent..i couldnt understand what she was saying..after a minute of trying to talk she hung the phone up..i called back 8 times..busy every time..

at the end of my shift..my boss handed me another letter from an "ALEX GREEN" i guess they had been calling my work for for 2 weeks..several times stating that it was an emergency..my hr manager told them to never call back..or he would get them for harassment..he googled the phone number and found out that is was a scam..my boss showed my on the computer that several other people were getting the same phony calls.the last note i received had a new number (718) 673-6146. i havent called that number yet..i dont plan to .im not worried about it anymore..the company that was calling said they were from the UNITED LEGAL INVESTIGATION DEPARTMENT
