United Public Adjusters, Inc Yuri Adeshelidze Public Adjuster has put a lien on me for the money that I didn't received yet. He is also trying to collect money from me for the third party invoices. Like storage company, asbestos company etc. Calabasas California

 I hired this company to help me with my claim for water damage that happened to my house. I was in no position of hendeling the claim on my own due to being pregnant and needed professional help. The guy seemed very nice and gave me the option of besides representing me as public adjuster but also having Contructor's license. He was To estimate and do my construction. When I was signing the contract with him he mentioned to me that he will be collecting his percentage from building checks and from the contents. He is not to be involved in any third party services provided for the claim, like restoration companies, storage, etc. I did receive some money for the building that was sent to the mortgage company and 30% of which released to me. I paid my adjuster his percentage. We also received money for asbestos company that he was supposed to pay as I endorsed it to him. A month later asbestos company called me complaining that they never got the payment from him. He said that he doesn't have their address. I did a tree way calling with asbestos company where he got the address and promised to pay right away. Three weeks later I got the same call from asbestos company letting me know that they never received the payment from him. After summarizing his work performed for the past three months, I made my decision to change him as he didn't comply with whatever I was promised and seemed very fishy to me his approach to the invoice that were supposed to be paid. When I confronted him that I will be changing my public adjuster he began ignoring my calls and presented me with the invoice completely unacceptable for me. He wants to collect his percentage even from the money of third party companies. Without my authorization he kept the money for asbestos company work performed back in Octobet which is over $8,000. I did let him know that I am going to pay every penny as we spoke for the money he brought for construction and contents. As of today he put a lien on me on the amount that I didn't even collect from my claim. I have never been in any home insurance claims in my life and I am guessing this will be one route to take to try to resolve this issue. As of today my house is completely gone I have no money to repair cause every check issued to me will be held by him. I am eight months pregnant being high risk as I am over 40, which my 2 kids leaving in rental apartment with no clue what's going to happen next. I can't proceed with my claim as he is not giving me a release until he robs me fully and I don't even have that money to pay.
