United Sales & Book Publishing ripoff, deposited my check, never received the mailing material. North Miami Beach Florida

I received a mailer from United Sales & Book Publishing, Inc stating that they needed people to mail out the thousands of catalogs immediately, and need 500 steady mailers. The flier also stated that you can make from 500.00 to $3,500.00 or more every week, and this is guaranteed.

I first called the phone number listed on the mailer, and the phone lines were always busy, or their mail box was full. I sent in for the Group I which was to receive 55 catalogs, stamps,names, and address labels. That group was in the amount of $55.00, and would be guaranteed a check for $550.00 would be mailed promptly every Wednesday. The first paycheck would be in my hands in approximately ten days time.

I mailed a check in the amount of $55.00 on the 26th of April and it cleared my account on the 4th of May and I still have not received the catalogs that I was to fold , stamp, address, and mail.

I called the telephone number that United Sales and Book publishing had listed on the order form, and as of today 5-14-04 the phone lines are still busy, and on Monday 5-10-04 I called at 6:00 am and the voice mailbox was already full.

I regret that I have lost my $55.00 because I have a daughter that attends private school, and I was going to use the extra income to help with her school tuition. Its sad that there are companies out there that are ripping innocent people off.

I really hope something can be done about this, and stop these crooks that are using hard working, good people for their prey.
