Universal Health Systems Magnetic Mattress Pad a big scam *Consumer Suggestion
*0: Looks like you got taken by a "Snake Oil" scam.
On August 3, 2001 I purchased a Magnetic Mattress Pad from Universal Health Systems. They said I had a 90 day free trial period and a 100% No Risk Satisfaction Guarantee. On October 12, 2001 I called their Customer Service number 1-800-909-7532 to authorize the product's pick up and return. I get a message that that number was disconnected.
It looks like I an out $1037.50. This is obviously a big scam.

Their relationship to the company: Consumer Suggestion
Rebuttal:
Looks like you got taken by a "Snake Oil" scam. Some call health schemes medical quackery--you say tomato I say tomahto--it's all good.
If you used a credit card you need to file a credit card charge back immediately. You may also pay a visit to your local court house to file in small claims court.
I've checked the background for that company, you don't say where it's located. Universal Helath Systems changed it's name to New Benfits, Inc. But I'm not sure if this is the same company you used. The new number is 800.800.8304. If this isn't the company that scammed you please consider updating your complaint with more info like address, city and state of the
company so we can help.
Good Luck
The Fraud Chick
