*Consumer Comment: ANYTIME THEY INSTRUCT YOU TO WIRE MONEY - IS A SCAM
*Consumer Comment: So ????
A letter was mailed to me with no return address on it. Enclosed in the envelope was a letter from Universal Trust and Financial, LTD.
The letter described to me that I had a "NOTICE OF UNCLAIMED WINNINGS". A claim number of STF -00188F. A ticket with the number of S89190 posted in my name drew the lucky winning numbers. I am entitled to a lump sum of 150,000.00 once the taxes are paid.
I am one of the second category winners of the super seven contest. The tax amount is 2750.00 and can be paid through Money Gram found at any Walmart Store.
My claim agent in Jack Smith. I must not use this check until I call for my verification.

NO LEGITIMATE LOTTERY OR SWEEPSTAKES SENDS YOU A CHECK TO PAY TAXES WITH - those are removed from your winnings first and reported to the IRS.
They only reason they have you call is so they can identify who is falling for the scam and when they can expect to receive the moneygram.
