Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...
I received a pre-approved loan letter in the mail. I simply had to go onto their website SaveWithUpgrade.com and type in my pre approval number in the letter and get my loan rate. Well, I did that, and got an email almost immediately that I had been denied. I called and was told that their letters are just based on your credit score and it does not mean anything! So pre-approval is a false and misleading statement and because they check your credit, it's a hit on your credit score. So, don't bother. go to One Main, or another fianancial bill consolidator that is reputable.

I withdrew an application because they were asking personal information that the government States is illegal. They take your information and they ruin your credit do not get an (upgrade loan via in California) you'll be sorry you ever did when they destroy your credit and you owe $250,000 because they will sell your information and they will destroy your credit....

I just ran across this complaint and this website and though I have never personally dealt with the company Upgrade before, I thought in all fairness to the company, it should be made known that on the bottom of the preapproval letter it reads as follows:
This "prescreened" offer of credit is based on information in your credit report indicating that you meet certain criteria. This offer is NOT GUARANTEED if you do not meet these specified criteria.
Again, I am not taking sides, I'm just trying to show fairness.
