Uptown poochie Michele Westin Dishonest Miami, Florida
*Consumer Comment: For future reference.
I made an online order with uptown poochie in Nov 2011. My credit card was charged the same day, but the goods were never sent. After many phone calls and emails I finally got hold of them in January and they said that they hadn't sent the goods and would refund the money directly to my credit card account. The money never came. I started calling and emailing them again in March, it is now heading towards the end of April 2012 and they are not returning my calls or answering my emails. If you are planning to order something from this company I strongly suggest you shop elsewhere as they don't seem to be very honest.

If you ever order something with a credit card and it is not sent, it's a simple matter to file a dispute on the transaction with your credit card company. They'll credit the amount back to you and ask the seller to show proof that they sent your goods. In a case like this, they would obviously have no proof.
Most card issuers require that disputes be made within 90 days of the charge appearing on your bill, so you're probably out of luck this time around.
