US Car Protection offering "coverage” on vehicle Austin Texas

This "company” sent a very small, simple letter trying to explain that my vehicle’s original factory warranty has expired and I should call them to make sure my vehicle is covered. These people aren’t the brightest because this little letter was full of red flags. No company name was provided at the top, just an address and my name was spelled incorrectly. Not just a small mistake either, these people butchered my name. Another red flag was the chart they attempted to make at the bottom of the page that read YEARS/MILES and underneath each number, it said APPROVED but the miles stopped at 100,000. My car is past 100,000. So how do I qualify for your "coverage”? And last but not least, they basically explain that they’re a fraud. In very, very small print at the right hand corner of the page, it reads, "Not affiliated with the dealer or manufacturer”. If you receive a letter like this, you’ll know it’s a scam as soon you open it up and don’t see your vehicle’s brand symbol at the top.
