US government grant department These guys are scamers! they call you and say you are eligible to be paid $7000 because you have not had a bad credit for last 6 months. then will ask you about your account number to depposit, Washington DC

i recieved a call today from 970-002 number and gave me a 4 letter code, the man said i was approved by the government to recieve 7,ooo us dollars today,but he then gave me this number 202-684-6393 i called i listened to wat they told me he asked me to send $260.00 to donate to children's ?? I said i would do it tomarrow but once i got off the phone i then googled it and i just found out it is a scam ive encountered a few scams already this year, and im tired of these people tring to trick me i was not born yesterday come on.i want to help anyone who is willing to do there homework before making the wrong decisions.
