On Monday, 8/12, I recieved a call from this Phone# shown on my phone as +20 2 5398075. The woman said she was from the Federal Grants Department and that I was selected to receive $1,000 Grant to use anyway I choose. She then went on asking for various information like address, phone#, spelling of my last name. Then she gave me three choices of how to receive this money.
Choices were, Bank Account, Nearby Store, or Credit or Debit Card. Since this was sounding like a Scam, I chose Nearby Store. I did not give her my Bank or Debit Card information. She then gave me another number to call, (202) 621-0152.
I called and spoke with Linda Shmith. She told me to go to the store you selected, (CVS), and to call her when get in the parking lot. I will be going there later today. I will then continue this report after I go there.
