US Mortgage Bailout K2 Capital Management This Company is a SCAM! Took my money and ran! La Jolla, California

This company is a complete scam!  My husband and I signed a contract with them in April of 2010 for a mortgage loan modification.  They assured me that they have helped thousands of people save their homes.  I did research on this company before signing the contract and everything came up clean.  We paid them $3,000 up front and they said it should take approx. 4 months for the loan mod to go through with my mortgage company.  In the beginning, I called several times and the man who we were dealing with(Russell Hollowell) always got right back to me.  After a few months of not hearing from them I called and he said everything was right on track! 

I just tried to call them last week because again we had not heard anything and to my surprise their website was completely changed saying they were no longer accepting new clients!  I immediately called them and a recording says the same thing.  I have tried numerous times but to no avail.  I found another website that has a blog about this company.  There are at least 100 or so people in the same position as we are in!!!  I cant believe that this company robbed so many people and then shut their doors.  They are a complete SCAM!!!!  The only thing I want is my money back but apparently they have filed for bankrupcy.....what do we do now!!  This company must be stopped.  I have filed a complaint with the AG of California.  I hope other people do the same thing, maybe something will come of it.
