U.S. Telecom sent a misleading solicitation for services to one of my branch offices. This "solicitation" looks very much like an invoice, with a customer reference number and an amount due. It is obviously intended to trick companies into unknowingly signing on for unneeded, unnecessary services. This false invoice was for $425. Fortunately, my office manager realized the scam and did not pay the "invoice".
