Usa Fitness Center false membership downpayment Elkhart Indiana

i went with my daughter to the usa fitness ctr with a visitor pass of course they wanted to sell me a membership. i told the girl that i didn't have the money and didn't have a bank account for them to automatic take the money out each month. she said that i could go and get an account and she would wait until i got back with the info.

that was on a sat i called her back monday morning and told her that after looking at my budget that i just couldn't afford it, i was then informed that they had sent the payment in anyways, i have been getting phone calls now from the collection agency, i have explained my situation. the girl at the usa fitness promished me she would wait until i could get the money to her, if i wanted the membership, she also was waiting on my reply weither my boyfriend would like the membership with me.

they say i can't do anything about it since i signed the papers, but she was to wait to get the money from me to send it on. what a mess. now my credit is bad, i don't use the membership, since i don't pay for it anyways. don't relay on anyones promises when it comes to them waitting to hear from you. they said that i had 3 days to decine, i belivie that from sat to mon is under 3 days..thanks
