Thomas Tabb was fully aware that I was stopped behind him when he intentionally backed up into his driveway, colliding with my car and rendering it inoperable. Insured by USAA Garrison, my case was handed over to a new adjuster named Patty, who has proven to be the most unpleasant and combative person I’ve ever encountered in relation to this claim. It's been incredibly frustrating navigating this situation with her.

In the incident, Thomas Tabb deliberately backed into my vehicle despite knowing that I was stationary. He showed little regard for the accident and even attempted to deceive the police by claiming that I was the one who hit him. Fortunately, I had a dash cam that recorded the entire incident, clearly indicating that he was at fault. When the police arrived, he tried to obstruct their communication with me, but after viewing my footage, they determined he was responsible.

As a direct result of the crash, my car has ceased functioning due to an issue with the timing chain. The impact from his pickup truck caused significant damage, rendering my vehicle unable to start.

Unfortunately, Patty claimed she had not seen the dash cam video, despite not being my first adjuster at the beginning of the claim; it feels as if she was specifically assigned to make this process as challenging as possible for me.

My car was in the shop for several months, yet Patty refused to cover the cost for a diagnostic test to determine the exact issue, insisting instead that I should pursue it through another Chevrolet dealership, which confirmed it was indeed the timing chain that had failed. It seems like insurance companies often resort to these tactics, employing the most difficult adjusters to intentionally stall claims, especially trying to push them beyond the two-year statute of limitations.

To add to the pain, I have homeowners insurance with USAA/Garrison, and they've acted in bad faith, which has contributed to my ongoing issues with Patty. She has also denied me access to a rental car, despite the first adjuster acknowledging their insured, Thomas Tabb, was at fault and accepting responsibility. It’s been disheartening to see them fight against me and refuse to total my vehicle, preventing me from securing the new car I desperately need.

I had my car in the shop for 3 months in 2024 patty fought every step of the way to fix my car

AUTHOR: Kathy - ()

POSTED: Monday, July 14, 2025

In 2024, I faced an incredibly frustrating experience with my car that ended up spending a total of three months in the repair shop. During this period, Patty, the representative I was assigned to, fought tirelessly at every turn to ensure my vehicle was fixed. However, her insistence on rejecting the idea of providing me with a rental car made the situation even more complicated. My insurance company, USAA, seemed to consistently engage in delay tactics, which only added to my mounting frustration and made me feel that they were acting in bad faith. Most recently, I coordinated with USAA to arrange for my car to be sent to the body shop at Sons of Chevy. After persistent discussions, they finally agreed to pay for a rental car during this process; however, the troubles didn’t end there. When the insurance adjuster came to inspect my vehicle, they raised issues about the paint on the hood peeling away, claiming that this damage was beyond the scope of the repairs they were willing to cover. This left me in a bind, as they did not permit the body shop to address the visible damage that had already been documented and for which they had previously agreed to pay. Ultimately, I found myself in the unfortunate position of having to return my rental car, despite the understanding I had with USAA. To add insult to injury, USAA then claimed that the two-year statute of limitations to address my issues had passed. I made it clear that their refusal to take any action over the past two years should not exempt them from accountability. It’s a frustrating situation, and I feel as though I'm not being taken seriously, while they attempt to sidestep their responsibilities.

Kimberly Jackson is a racist doctor and a liar with her saying my mom said something against her religion which she didn

AUTHOR: Charles - (United States)

POSTED: Tuesday, March 18, 2025

The doctor, upon receiving my records from Kimberly Jackson, immediately confronted my mother about the fabricated information contained within. His sharp words highlighted the severity of the false statements, underscoring the impact on my ability to receive appropriate medical care. This incident further solidified my belief that Dr. Jackson's actions were not only unprofessional but potentially harmful. Her dismissive attitude and blatant disregard for patient well-being extended beyond a single instance of poor care; it revealed a pattern of behavior indicative of a larger systemic problem. The accusations leveled against me in my Google review, particularly her claim that her office practices "diversity,” felt like a calculated attempt to deflect responsibility and silence my legitimate concerns. It wasn't just about the inconvenience of waiting; it was about the lack of basic medical attention, the false information in my chart, and the subsequent difficulties in obtaining proper medical treatment. This experience left me deeply disillusioned with the medical professionals in Phenix City. The incident with the power outage, where her staff claimed I never showed up due to the building being dark, because of a fire occurred felt like a deliberate attempt to evade accountability for her negligence. The pattern of behavior suggests a deeper issue within the medical community in that area, raising serious questions about the quality of care and the ethical standards upheld by some practitioners. I remain deeply disturbed by the events and am exploring my options to ensure this type of negligence doesn't happen to others.

Thomas tabb new I was stopped behind him and he kept backing up even after hitting my car and not stopping he ruined my front bumper and caused it not to start

AUTHOR: Kathy jones - (United States)

POSTED: Tuesday, March 18, 2025

The entire ordeal left me feeling defeated and helpless. The lack of support from USAA, compounded by the seemingly deliberate obstruction from Patty, the adjuster, felt deeply unfair. Her refusal to consider the dashcam footage and police report, coupled with her abrasive demeanor, only amplified my frustration. Thomas Tabb’s wife's false statement to the police added insult to injury, but I had a dash cam to prove my innocence. But without it the police would have blamed me. The Phenix City police department's apparent inclination to blame the victim further solidified my sense of being trapped in an inescapable situation. The fact that Tabb likely evaded responsibility for a prior accident, evidenced by damage to his other vehicle, that has a big dent on the passenger side door only intensified my anger and suspicion that I was deliberately targeted. His subsequent attempts to provoke me by driving past my home, clearly an act of retaliation, underlined his lack of remorse and accountability. The prolonged repair process, exceeding four months, and the denial of a rental car by USAA added significant financial and logistical burdens to my already stressful circumstances. The inability to pursue legal action due to financial constraints—lacking the funds or for transportation to the courthouse—left me feeling utterly powerless. This complaint serves not only as a record of my experience but also as a warning to others who might encounter similar situations with Thomas Tabb. His actions demonstrate a pattern of irresponsible behavior and a blatant disregard for the consequences of his actions . I hope that by sharing my story, I can prevent others from suffering similar injustices
