I was checking my "consumer report" for all three companies and found that USCB is reporting a $172 debt on my TransUnion report as of 11/2005. They claim the original creditor is a Penn Foster School. I have received no calls, letters, etc. This is just appearing on the one report. I have sent a dispute to TransUnion.

I need to know what other remedies may be available to remove this information. I believe it is a ripoff to be able to place information on a persons report without prior knowledge, and unless I am mistaken, it is illegal as well. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
