I sympathize with your anger, but USIS - DAC is only passing on information provided them by your former employers. If the information is untrue you can request a copy of your individual report and an official dispute form to fight it.

I just went through this and was successful! Erroneous information that was in my report has been removed. It is free and well worth the time.

My husband has received copies of his DAC report and most of the information is about a black male with a rap sheet a mile long. I would like to know how they justify doing this seeing how my husband is white and the name doesn't match completely.
This other individual lives and commits crimes in North Carolina, while we live in TN. They have my husbands first, last name-DOB, SS#. Right after that they have MATCH WAS MADE followed by my husbands first and last name but the middle name is different and there's a Jr. Suffix.
There is also another fellow from CT at the very end of this report, his middle name is different with a Jr suffix-he is white and was arrested for possession of marijuana in NC.
We have tried calling this company to discuss this and it was a useless route, how do they get away with this?

In this day when people try so hard to eliminate the possibility of identity theft/fraud we have a company such as this sending out our personal information to any Joe Smoe out there, it's just not right! I am going to research this some more and find out why this is allowed and if there is anything more we can do to have these other individuals information removed from my husbands file.
