USPS On Line Change of Address Paid $20 for Change of Address Ohio Ohio
*Consumer Comment: Are you serious?
I submitted a change of address on line and paid $20. I still have NOT gotten any mail at my new address. I called the post office and was told this was a scam and they only charge $1.05 to change address. The company that cheated me out of my money does not answer the phone. All I can see is that it is based in Ohio and has a 707 area code.

So you paid $20 to fill out a change of address card; and you claim to called the post office and you stated that they claim to charge $1.05? Well guess what? The post office does not charge for a change of address. Zip, zilch, nadda, and zero. How do I know this? Just two weeks ago, I stopped by my local branch to see if they could hold my mail for a week and then sent it to my parents house. I lived in suburban Philadelphia and my parents live in SouthWest Florida. They had no problem with this and it didn't cost me a single penny. At least once a month, a person like yourself complains about this scam. Why do you guys always click on the first link that you see and then complain later. Just drive or call the post office. Before you complain that you live to far from the post office. Before I moved to suburban Philadelphia, I live in the mountains of NE PA. It took 45 minutes to drive to the post office and they didn't offer house delivery so everyone needed to pick up their mail at the post office. So I had to drive there to fill out a change of address card. Even with today's gas prices, it still wouldn't have cost you $20 to fill out the card. SHAME ON YOU!
