 Hello,

I purchased the advertised complete POS system for $999.00, and the total came to $1049. After waiting a week and 1/2 It came by post in different box. The PC was refurbished which was stated that was fine but the touch screen LCD was also refurbished that one was supposed to be brand new. The system was slow. I paid to return the entire system back to them right after two days of receiving those packages. I called them back for my money back, they have mentioned that I might not get all money back due to software and license install in the pc which I return. I said to the customer lady name Amanda, this is a case action againt your company. She replied and said it will cost you more than what what we will take from you. That's mean they know what they are doing. They are bunch of crooks and ripoff people. please dont buy from them!

Understanding the Process

AUTHOR: Utouch Customer Service - ()

POSTED: Monday, March 17, 2014

At Utouch, we serve thousands of customers per year. And in doing so, we try to set the customers expectation correctly from the start of the process.

This customer states that "it was advertised at $999.00 but actually cost $1,049" that's correct. We do charge shipping, and the customer is told this when they check out on the website.

This customer also states that "The PC was refurbished which was stated that was fine but the touch screen LCD was also refurbished that one was supposed to be brand new" This is incorrect, the only refurbished part that we sell is a PC, on some of our lower prices stations.

In addition, he aslo makes this comment "After waiting a week and 1/2 It came by post in different box" Yes, that's correct. Each customer recieved an email stating that they would recieve multiple shipments from multiple warehouses, and to allow 7-10 days for delivery. So it sounds like in this case, Utouch did exactly as we advertised.

So to recap, we charged shipping that we said we would. We told the customer that they would recieve the product in 7-10 days (they did) and as for the return, the customer agreed that if they returned the system, the software is non-refundable. (just like if you bought software at Best Buy)

It's unfortunate that this customer didn't pay attention to the emails and information that he recieved from our company regarding his order, and return policy.
