vacationstogo.com advertises hot specials, including on-board credits, to lure you to book a cruise. They will be very coy to not address the truth on recorded telephone conversations, but when you pay, go on your cruise and do not recieve the credits advertised they will refer to the fine print you did not read.Their hiding of the truth is bolder than a direct lie. They absolutely know that consumers are drawn to the hot price advertised. But, beware, they will cheat you anyway they can.

I am the Vice President of Customer Service for Vacations To Go and I disagree with some of the statements made. We are a travel agency that sells cruises at the prices and promotions set by the cruise lines. At times they will offer various promotions on the same cruise but promotions may not be combined.
At the time of booking we secured the lowest rate for this client but it did not include any onboard credit. Following the cruise the client inquired about the onboard credit and sent an email stating that they had a detailed discussion about the credit with out agent at the time of booking. We reviewed the recording of the phone call and onboard credit was never mentioned by the client or by our agent. We have offered to play this recording for the client.
Vacations To Go has been in business for 25 years and we enjoy a stellar reputation throughout the travel industry. I regret that this client is not satisfied but we did secure the best available rate on the day the cruise was booked and no promises were made that were not fulfilled.
