This is clearly a scam by Intelius. I suggest blogging on the net and putting a lot of negative content out there on Intelius.
Someone posted this on another site.
INTELIUS - I WON!!!
Intelius compliment by Jo
Today I checked my bank account and found my money had been returned to my account by Intelius. I didn't have to wait that long....I contacted my state Attorney General, the Washington State Attorney General, BBB, my bank and they wrote to them, called them and ultimately my money was returned, all I had asked from them was a one-time people search and suddenly I became a paid subscriber. I suggest strongly anytime one of these scam factories starts taking your money you immediately contact your state AG and the state they originate in - this will assist in helping others, possibly get their business to straight up or closed down. You can also contact your bank and talk about online fraud.

I read about the other person who was ripped off, and wanted her to know others have been ripped off too.
Whether a person is a single parent, as I am as well, or someone that 19.95 is nothing more than a penny slug, the way this company gets permission to have continued charges is outrageous.
I don't remember dealing with them either, yet when I called them they stated I agreed to their charges by signing up for 10 dollars... 10 dollars, to get repeat charges of 19.95, I hardly think so. I have no idea who or WHAT this company is, and was only doing a search for my missing daughter when they managed to bamboozle my into SUPPOSEDLY agreeing to being ripped off...
