This law firm took thousands of dollars (over $9,700) from me and mishandled my entire divorce case. I had a Marital Settlement Agreement prepared by another attorney which had everything spelled out as to who gets what, and brought this into Van Sickle's offices when I hired them.

I hired Van Sickle & Rowley in good faith, to enforce the Marital Settlement Agreement and to conclude the divorce case as fast as possible. Van Sickle & Rowley had their incompetent, novice attorneys perform elaborate and unnecessary research on my MSA, charging me thousands of dollars just so they could come up with irrelevant arguments to attack the validity of my perfectly good MSA.

I had to actually argue with them ("my own attorneys") and point out that their own research was totally flawed, irrelevant and a waste of my money & time. One of their attorneys finally agreed with me and admitted that I was right. The Marital Settlement Agreement stated that I did not want spousal support, but their incompetent attorney repeatedly demanded spousal support from the opposition, which violated the terms of the MSA, and angered my wife and her attorneys to the point where they didn't want to negotiate with us at all. all thanks to the way Van Sickle & Rowley handled my case.
When I had to be in court, the Van Sickle attorney was afraid of the judge and would not speak up for my side at all.

The way they handled (botched) my case, cost me thousands of dollars and dragged the case out way too long, just so they could charge me more money. All they wanted to do is take all the money they could possibly get, by performing work that I never asked for and which did in fact hurt my case.

They are greedy, incompetent lawyers who make money off of other people's misery, taking cruel advantage all the while.

They never listened to my complaints, nor did they care about my complaints at all. They deserve to be disbarred.
