Vanilla Visa Gift card MetaBank Incomm Fianancial services, inc. My Gift Card was used by a unathorized user while my card was sealed in the original box

On 10/05/2021, I  purchased a $50 gift card for my daughter as a birthday gift. The card was a Vanilla Visa card. I purchased the card because it promised my funds will be secure. On 10/07/2021, my daughter finally opened the sealed container that had the card inside and proceeded to shop online. Unfortunately the card was declilned due to lack of funds. She called the 800 number on the back of the card to learn that it on had only .17 cents available. I looked up the account history online at Vanillavisa.com and noticed unathorized charges to the card on 10/06/2021 between 12:17pm - 12:40pm.

It repeadedly charged the card $2.99 to Google Garena without authorization from myself or my daughter. May I remind you @ 12:17pm on 10/06/2021 the gift card was still in the origional box unopened. This leads me to belileve this is either a case of inside fraud  and corruption by the maker, or distributor of these  cards.

How else is someone gonna know the card number and expiration date with the 3 digit code. I called to report the fraud and the customer service center is being uncooperative and refuses to restore my funds or refund my money.
